The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful. I have lost my action camera in the sea and I needed to file a police report for the missing camera to get reimbursed by my travel insurance company. The resort arranged transport from Mabul island to a police station in Semporna as well as a staff member to communicate with local authorities. In the end my claim was reimbursed and I am thankful for the staff.

  Paradise on the reef - Stunning reefs and very well organised. Diving equipment was well maintained. Highly recommend doing as many trips to sipidan as they will allow.

This resort made the whole trip so easy. If you wanna snorkel, grabbing gear is a breeze, and not long after hopping in, we spotted a sea turtle—total wow moment I won’t forget. The food’s solid too: fresh grilled fish, coconut rice with just the right creaminess, and breakfast mangoes so sweet they tasted like they were picked that morning. Every meal hit the spot.

No fancy stuff, just good vibes all around. The rooms are clean and tidy, so you feel right at home. The staff’s super friendly too—they’ll throw out little tips for exploring, and you can tell they care about making your stay nice. If you want a low-key trip where the ocean’s the star? This place is it. I’d come back in a second.😜😜

All round-trip transfers are included in the package price. I liked the large and clean grounds of the hotel, the comfortable bungalows, the good massage, the excellent variety of food and of course the great, beautifully organized diving! This was our 3rd visit to Mabul... read more , but the first 2 visits were in 2006 and 2007. I was worried that the reef life might have been damaged in the intervening years, but it hasn't. There was so much reef life to see and it was postive to see some artificial reefs being created as well to boost the health of the waters.

  5 star but cat faeces dropped the star.. - Very Good service.. Except Bad smell of cat faeces along the jetty, at least 3-4 spotted when you walk for 100 meters to/from jetty. The meals are lovely and has a... read more good variety. I ended appreciating the inland resort as it is safer for kids to run around and easy access for elderly. The main purpose of our trip is to snorkel and enjoy the coast. Except for the 1.5yo, everyone went snorkelling in the open water. This resort has the most amazing coral reef just off its jetty. Having snorkel at various part of the island, we realised this resort somehow able to maintain a good coastal ecosystem that attracts lot of marine life..The snorkel and diving crew are amazing, caring and highly professional people. My 8yo encountered with an emergency whilst snorkelling in the open water. (Things happened in the wild.) We were very grateful for the decisive action of our first responder dive instructor, immediate organisation by the hotel manager to access medical care and the tireless company by our snorkelling guide throughout the medical transport and treatment process. We were well taken care by this great community. Our 8yo was back to her normal self that afternoon and insisted to continue with island hoping adventure the next day. Instead of discouraging us from taking to the trip, the resort has arranged additional crew members to accompany us the next day. Whilst the rest of the family snorkel, the additional crew spent time with my 8yo on the boat, entertaining her with tales of the sea. The level of service is truly amazing. Lastly, we were so lucky to witness the release of baby sea turtles into the sea. The resort has beaches preserve for turtles to nest. If you appreciate the marine ecosystem and the experience to be close to nature, I highly recommend Borneo Divers. We will be back for more snorkelling.
