1. Where is Borneo Divers Mabul Resort located?
The resort is located at Mabul island in the district of Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia.
2. How to get to Mabul ?
You can get to Kuala Lumpur (capital city of Malaysia) or Kota Kinabalu (capital city of Sabah, one of the states in East Malaysia) and take a flight to Tawau which is located at the east coast of Sabah. From Tawau airport, you will go by land transfer for about 90 minutes to a fishing town called Semporna where you will be ferried to Mabul Island, the journey of which is about 30-40 minutes.
3. Does the hotel arrange airport transfer?
Yes we do. The packaged tour price is inclusvie of airport transfer. The price of Room & breakfast category is not inclusive of airport transfer but can be arranged with extra charge. Please advise us on your flight details and we will send you transportation options to choose from.
4. What is the weather like?
Equatorial/Tropical—the climate is generally hot and sunny all year round; visitors need to wear comfortable clothing to avoid heatstroke. We also have scattered unpredictable rains, therefore, it’s advisable to always bring an umbrella in case it rains.

Standard room check in time is 1400 hrs and check out time is 0930 hrs.

We can arrange babysitting service for our little guests upon prior notice. Please contact our reservation team for advance booking.
9. What payment methods are accepted by the resort?
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS. We also accept US Dollars, British Sterling Pounds and Euros.
10. Is there any other eatery options around the area?
Besides the main dining hall where we serve daily buffet meals, there is a beach bar offering ala carte menu. For guests who purchase the packaged tour which is inclusive of daily buffet meals will have their buffet meals at the main dining hall. They can pay extra to take ala carte food and drinks at the beach bar.
11. Can I dive or snorkel at Sipadan?
Guests who wish to go to Sipadan will need to apply and pay for a permit. Due to the limitation of the Sipadan permit, our resort has been allocated with 12 permits per day. We can guarantee one day Sipadan trip for guests who stay at our resort for minimum 5 days 4 nights and subject to first come first served. Sipadan permit allocation is based on resort discretion. The permit fee RM140 per day has to be paid in advance to the sales office.
Request for extra Sipadan permit will be subject to availability on a first come first served basis. Please contact our reservation team to find out the details and charges.
Children below 12 years old are NOT guaranteed for Sipadan permit even if they stay 4 nights and above.

13. How can I cancel or modify my booking?
Please contact the reservation office by emailing to firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to cancel or modify your booking.
14. Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation, the following cancellation charges shall apply:
a. Confirmation date to 30 days before arrival – 30% of the trip’s full price will be forfeited.
b. 29 days to 15 days before arrival – 50% of the trip’s full price will be forfeited.
c. 14 days to 1 day before arrival – 75% of the trip’s full price will be forfeited.
d. No Show of customer – 100% of the trip’s full price will be forfeited.
