GETTING TO MAMUTIK
Step 1 | Fly to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI)
Kota Kinabalu International Airport is the main gateway to Mamutik Island, with regular domestic and international flights arriving daily.
Step 2 | Transfer to Shangri-La Tanjung Aru (STAR) Marina
From the airport or city centre, a short drive of around 15 to 20 minutes brings you to Shangri-La Tanjung Aru (STAR) Marina.
Step 3 | Boat Transfer to Mamutik Island
From STAR Marina, a complimentary boat transfer takes you across to Mamutik Island.

GETTING TO MABUL
Step 1 | Fly to Tawau Airport (TWU)
Tawau Airport is the nearest geteway to Mabul Island, with daily flights from Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu operated by local domestic airlines such as AirAsia & Malaysia Airlines.
Step 2 | Land Transfer to Semporna Jetty
After landing, a road transfer brings you to Semporna Jetty. The journey takes around 90 minutes.
Step 3 | Boat Transfer to Mabul Island
From Semporna Jetty, a boat transfer brings you across to Mabul Island. The ride takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on sea conditions.
Flight Tips for Easy Connections
Book flights arriving in Tawau no later than 10:30 hours and departing after 16:00 hours to match our scheduled transfers and avoid waits.
